Pairings done as the 2023 Ashanti Regional U-17 championship look set to kickoff next week with some interesting, tricky and exciting matches coming up.
This competition is the 'Champion of champion' version as the first phase of the season has already been accomplished with the various winners battling themselves this time to pick the ultimate conqueror.
Six teams will compete in this championship with four selected from the regions capital Kumasi whiles the other districts like Obuasi, Ejura, Afrancho, Mamponteng, Beposo, Atonsu, Manso Agroyesum, Sekyere, Asante Akim Agogo, Brofoyedru and Abuakwa all also present one rep each.
The competition will be in a knockout pattern with winners from every round advancing to the next whiles losers get evicted.
The two teams that will hustle their way through the final will be Ashanti Region's representatives at the third edition of the KGL U-17 Champions League.
The competition is expected to begin on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at the Bantama Kokoase Astro Turf.
