Black Galaxies head coach, Annor Walker has revealed preparations is going on very well but added they can still improve after series of trainings subsequently.
The Samartex FC head coach few weeks ago, announced his 40 provisional man list who have already started pitching camp at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence and will be trimmed down to the final squad very soon.
The home-based national team have won all three preparatory friendlies they have played so far as they look to gain match-fitness and also get themselves adequately prepared for the 2023 CHAN tournament which is scheduled for early next year.
In an interview with the GFA media, the experience tactician is so far impressed with their preparations but is still expecting massive improvement from his men.
“I think we have been here for the past 10/11 days and we started training and at the weekend we had our first friendly game against a second Division team called New Town FC and won 7-0. We continued our training and today we had another friendly match that we won 4-1."
"I am not looking at the results but performance and the game plan that we are strategizing to play. For me it’s working but we are not there yet."
They will engage giants Hearts of Oak in a high-profile friendly tie on Sunday, December 11, in Prampram.
