Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku insists that qualifying from the group stages of the World Cup is the most important thing for the Black Stars.

The 2010 World Cup quarter finalists defeated arch-rivals Nigeria in March to qualify for the finale.

 
Ghana will face Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal in the group stages of the World Cup.
 
Ghana have scheduled pre-World Cup friendly games with Brazil and Nicaragua later this month before wrapping up with Switzerland in November.
 
Otto Addo is expected to name his squad for the friendlies against Brazil and Nicaragua by the middle of the month.
 
Mohammed Salisu, Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey are all expected to be named in the squad.
 
Kurt Okraku says the most important thing for the Black Stars is to qualify from the group stages of the global showpiece.
 
"The most important thing is for our Black Stars to qualify from the group stages, then the rest is open for everyone," he said at the FIFA World Cup trophy tour in Accra.
