Ghana Premier League referee, Emmanuel R. Biney has retired from active refereeing, Kickgh can confirm.
The top-flight match official has downed his whistle after 16 years of service.
Referee Biney said his retirement from active football is based on personal issues.
He was last seen as fourth referee in the week 14 of the Premier League at the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium when Ebusua Dwarfs played Aduana Stars.
