The Ghana Football Association (GFA) per reports are contemplating on reappointing Otto Addo as new head coach of the Black Stars.
The Ghana senior men national team are currently without a substantive coach after the jettisoning of coach Chris Hughton just recently on the back of the country's disastrous campaign at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations.
The GFA since have appointed a committee to be on the lookout for a new coach with some specific requirements outlined for the search.
However, Otto Addo per speculations is currently leading the race to become the new coach for Ghana with talks currently ongoing between the two parties.
The 48-year-old's first spell was in early 2022 when he came in as successor for Milovan Rajevac and played a huge role in helping Ghana edge Nigeria in two legs to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
At the Mundial in Qatar, he recorded only a win against South Korea and lost the remaining two against Portugal and Uruguay. He returned to his post at German giants Borussia Dortmund after the competition.
