Current Black Satellites head coach, Abdul Karim Zito most likely to be jettisoned in the coming days in what is described as poor performance, per exclusive reports reaching Kickgh.com.
However, Hearts of Oak's Samuel Boadu is currently leading the race to take over the Ghana men U-20 side should the current coach be axed and will be deputized by the 'Phobians' legend Jacob Nettey.
The Black Satellites have been appalling in the past few weeks having suffered a group stage elimination in the WAFU Zone B tourney which was held in Niger- where they lost all their two matches to Nigeria and Burkina Faso.
Also in the just-ended Tournoi Maurice Revello tournament which in France, Ghana finished 11th out of the total 12 teams, having failed to pick up a win in the first phase but managed to beat Saudi Arabia in their last game.
With this, the Ghana FA per speculations, have the ex- Medeama coach on top of their wish-list and is likely he will be announced as the new head coach of the 2009 world champions with ex- Hearts of Oak star Jacob Nettey to be named his assistant.
