Current Italian Serie A leaders SSC Napoli per reports, have ordered their scouts to monitor Ghana's Joseph Paintsil in the game against Angola later today in Kumasi in the 2023 AFCON qualifiers.
The 25 year old has in a remarkable form since the start of the 2022/23 football season for KRC Genk in the Belgian Jupiler Pro and are currently leading with 68 points and will hope to clinch the championship for the fifth time in their history.
The mercurial wideman was on target against Cercle Brugge in their last game before this international break and that builds his goal contribution to 25 so far this campaign; having netted 13 and provided 12 assists in 29 outings in all competitions.
His impressive and blistering form earned him a call up this time for the double header after painfully missing out at the 2022 World Cup squad and is looking ever ready and poised for international action.
However, per speculations reaching Kickgh.com, SSC Napoli have asked their scouting team to keep tabs very well on Paintsil- whom they have been following for sometime now and will hope to acquire his service in the next summer transfer window.
