Four players from Division One side Real Tamale United (RTU) are set to travel to Turkey for trials with clubs in the country, Kickgh.com can exclusively reveal.
Midfielder Wisdom Manyina Jonas, winger Yaya Latif, defender Samuel Lamptey, and striker Lukman Abdul Shakur are expected to depart later this month, with the trials seen as a potential pathway to securing professional contracts abroad.
The move aligns with the strategic vision of RTU’s CEO Zakaria Safianu, who has prioritized international exposure and development opportunities for young talent within the club.
All four players were key figures for RTU in the recently-concluded Division One League campaign and are regarded as some of the most promising prospects in Zone One.
The club is expected to release an official statement upon the players’ departure.
