Ghana football legend, Dogo has sadly been announced dead on the morning of Tuesday, May 30, 2022, per latest reports in the indigeneous media.

Dogo Moro was a defender and featured for both Asante Kotoko and the senior national team Black Stars where he made lots of appearances.

Despite being a defender, he was known by witnesses to be very good and comfortable on the ball. His great technical abilities made many described him as the best sweeper ever in the history of the game.
 
He was a member of the Kotoko side that won the CAF Champions League in 1979 and also played a huge role in Ghana's Africa Cup of Nations glory in 1963 and 1965.
 
His great contribution has earned a huge honor of being named after one one of the popular pitches in his place of birth and Asawasi.
 
As a Muslim, he will be buried today and his Jannazah Prayers has been scheduled for 2:00pm this afternoon at the Dogo Moro Park.
