Ghanaian second division side Namoro Football Academy have sadly announced the passing of their goalkeeper Stephen Kwame Darko.
The young goalie was one of the most promising and talented shot-stoppers in the Ashanti Regional Division Two Championship but couldn’t play much this season with series of injuries
Official club statement on Facebook reads;
“Good evening family, on behalf of the President, C.E.O Management, Players and the entire Namoro Football Academy family, we wish to sorrowfully announce the sudden demise our player, Stephen Kwame Darko.
“This sad event occurred this afternoon( Saturday, 4th April, 2026).
“The funeral arrangements , in consultation with the family will be made known in due course. Thank you all.”
