Samartex head coach, Nurudeen Amadu, is determined to quickly recover from his side’s 1-0 defeat to Young Apostles in the Ghana Premier League.

The Timber Giants were unable to capitalize on their home advantage at the Nsenkyire Sports Complex on Sunday, with Samuel Prempeh’s 64th-minute strike proving to be the match-winner for the Premier League debutants.

Speaking after the game, Amadu expressed regret over the loss and apologized to the club’s fans, vowing to work hard to get the team back to winning ways.

“It was hard luck,” Amadu said following the defeat. “I apologize to the fans for the loss. We must work hard to return to winning ways.”

Samartex currently sit sixth on the league table with 17 points from 11 matches. They will travel to Anyinase to face Basake Holy Stars in matchday 12 at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park this weekend, looking to bounce back from the setback.
