Out-gone Hearts of Oak head coach, Samuel Boadu despite his sack few weeks ago, has wished the team all the best as they begin their CAF Confederations Cup campaign today.

The 'Phobians' will play as guests to Malian outfit ASR Bamako in the first leg of the second preliminary round as they hope to cruise into the group stage.

Samuel Boadu and his other technical team members were sacked in what is deemed as ill performance, having grinded only two points in their opening three matches of the season.

David Ocloo has been appointed as the new assistant and will eventually lead them into today's tie until a new substantive coach is announced.

The ex- Black Satellites gaffer took to his official Facebook handle this morning to wish his former side well ahead of their game this afternoon.

"Wishing you the phobia family and the team tbe best of luck as you begin the Africa campaign. I know the guys has put in the hours and has put in the effort, so now it's their time to shine. All the best to you and the team."

The game is scheduled for 1600GMT this mid-afternoon at the Stade 26 Mars.
