The Ghana Football Association spokesperson, Ibrahim Sannie Daara, has lauded the two past ministers for their good work at the Sports Ministry.
The astute sports journalist describes the two ministers as the best he has ever worked with.
“We have worked with a lot of ministers since I became the Communications Director but I will want to laud two ministers [Hon. Mahama Ayariga and Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah] for the great job they did for sports and the way they took sports and not only football to heart”, he told Kasapa fm
He further explained why he mentioned Mahama Ayariga for commendation even after it was clear beyond reasonable doubt that public opinion was against him.
"Mahama Ayariga left a legacy for the Sports Ministry, he left a major means of generating revenue for the Sports Ministry that is the NLA Soccer Cash and it was also during his tenure that we reached another final at the AFCON".
