Real Betis Féminas defender Grace Asantewaa has been adjudged women's footballer of the year in the just finished 2022 edition of the Ghana Football Awards
The 21 year old joined the Green and Whites prior to the start of this season from Logrono and has had a fantastic debut season in the Spanish Primera Division.
The ex- Ampem Darkoa Ladies really established herself as a mainstay and one of the fans favourite at the Estadio Luis del Sol, having notched seven goals as a defender in the just ended season.
Asantewaa, 21, claimed the award ahead of Dreamz Ladie's Stella Nyamekye and Princess Owusu of Fabulous Ladies.
The fourth edition of the Ghana Football Awards was held at Grand Arena in Accra on Saturday evening.
The Ghana Football Awards scheme has become the most coveted in the football space celebrates footballers, coaches, clubs and administrators who have done great exploits within the year under review.
