Great Olympics midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu insists that Sulley Muntari isn't a problematic character .

Muntari was perceived to be troublesome during his days with the Ghanaian national team.

The former Inter Milan midfielder was reportedly sacked from the Black Stars camp in South Africa 2010 World Cup for indiscipline but authorities intervened.

Worst of it all was when he assaulted then Black Stars management committee member Moses Parker at the World Cup in 2014 in Brazil.

Agyemang Badu and Sulley Muntari played for almost a-decade together for the Black Stars.

Black Stars are in the same group with Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea in the World Cup later this year.

The current Great Olympics midfielder disputes claims that Sulley Muntari is a difficult character to manage.

"He [Sulley Muntari] is not a problematic character. So if you didn't hear any problems about Sulley and Hearts of Oak you shouldn't be surprised. I know Sulley very well. I have been training with him prior to this move[to Great Olympics] and he advised me a lot about my career. He advised me to join a club and I joined a Ghana Premier League club," he said.
