The General Manager of Aduana Stars FC, Takyi Arhin, known as Thunder has lambasted investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
According to Thunder Anas probe and exposé about erstwhile President of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Kwesi Nyantakyi, has dispatched Ghana football to five decades back.
Thunder made this remarks on ChannelOne TV while reacting to Kwesi Nyantakyi being discharged by the High Court of Ghana after being implicated, where he was charged with fraud, corruption during his tenure at GFA, following Anas Aremeyas Anas’ exposé on corruption in Ghana football.
“The Anas exposé has taken us back to about 50 years, our football has not been the same as it was during the days of Kwesi," Thunder stated.
“Kurt (Okraku-the GFA President) is doing his best…he (Nyantakyi) was Vice President of CAF, EXCO Member of FIFA; now Kurt is also gunning for the CAF Executive Council member (position). If Kwesi was to be there and Kurt would have been added to it so the Anas exposé has gotten our football 50 years back."
