Head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Anyars Tanko has stated the recent break has really helped him a lot and is very happy with the return of football as they look to down any challenge that comes their way from henceforth.

The 47-year-old was appointed recently to head the Mauves and Yellows following the departure of Bosnian gaffer Nebojsa Kapor and is targeted to win the league.

The Mauves and Yellows have been training for the past weeks looking to get themselves adequately prepared this time and received a donation yesterday from the company - Engineers and Planners to boost their confidence ahead of the FA Cup action.

Speaking with the club's official media - Medi TV, the enterprising tactician said the league being on temporal hold has been beneficial to him but is very elated with the return.

He added they are ever ready and poised for the game against PAC Academy and revealed his admiration for the club.

"The break has been very good for us. I have had two weeks to know the team more and I will say that the team is doing well and we are ready for the FA Cup coming on Sunday," Tanko told Medi TV.

"I started PAC Academy because the owner is my brother, so I know the team inside out. We are playing against them on Sunday. Definitely, I want to go to the next round, so we are going to prepare very well to face them," he added.

The game is scheduled for 15:00GMT on Sunday, February 23, at the TnA Stadium.
