The Tarkwa and Aboso Park- home venue of current Ghanaian champions Medeama SC is done going through renovation process and is set to be commissioned in November.

The Mauves and Yellows for the past two seasons, have adopted the Akoon Park as their home grounds due to the intensive renovation works at the TNA Park and finally will be moving back to their favourite base.

The news was made concrete following the statement made by the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem George Mireku Duker in a press conference on Monday. He said;

"We will be commissioning our stadium also by November ending and we are using this platform to invite you to Tarkwa."

"By the grace of God, we shall play our first match of the group stage in Tarkwa."

This means Medeama SC from next month, will get to host all their home matches at the TNA Park including the CAF Champions League- having qualified to the main competition after edging out Guinean giants Horoya AC in the final qualifying round over the weekend.

The champions defence has been very slow as they are yet to record their first league win since the start of the new season; having drawn again Accra Lions on opening day before losing to Aduana Stars in Dormaa in match-day.

They were to face newbies Nations FC tomorrow in their outstanding day three fixture but has been postponed and will now travel to Nsoatreman FC in the next round of matches.
