Black Stars head coach, Chris Hughton has admitted there's so much pressure from the Ghanaian fans in recent times but that's mainly to grind results and that's exactly what they are hoping to do.
The Black Stars will kickoff their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers this afternoon when they host Madagascar to the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday mid-afternoon.
The team has already trained on three occasions and gelling very well and looking very poised for the game coming up as they head in with nothing but a winning mindset.
The return of players like captain Andre Ayew, Daniel Amartey, Osman Bukari and goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott are all training very well and will be available for selection.
In a pre-match conference, the ex- Brighton gaffer assured that, the team will play their hearts to snatch all three points today.
“The pressure that I am under as head coach and I am always under is to win football matches," Chris Hughton told the media
“We want to be able to win football matches and score lots of goals and concede none. This is heaven but we can’t always have that. What is important is to make sure that we win.”
The game is slated for 16:00GMT (4:00pm)
