Ghana Premier League side, Accra Lions just announced a partnership deal with German legend, Lothar Matthäus and PFAG boss Tony Baffoe believes that's a very huge step in our football.
The Bayern Munich and Inter Milan legend was named as the new partner of the club and is willing to help improve to the highest level.
The event was attended by various distinguished personalities, including the Minister of Youth and Sports, Honourable Mustapha Ussif, the German ambassador, His Excellency Daniel Krull, and a leading member of the Ghana Football Association.
In addition, Nii Samuel Adjetey Mohenu, the Chief of Abokobi where the club is based, all graced the event, alongside members of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG) and I prominent figures from the football industry, both domestically and internationally.
Tony Baffoe was part of the guests that graced the occasion at the Kempinski hotel, and has stated this is a great partnership and added it shows football is gradually improving under the administration of current GFA President Kurt Okraku.
