Brighton and Hove Albion right-back Tariq Lamptey has opened up on his first-ever experience as a player of the senior national team of Ghana.

Lamptey received a maiden invitation to the senior national team of Ghana for a double-header friendly against Brazil and Nicaragua this month.

 
The 21-year-old announced his decision to switch international allegiance to represent the West African nation last month.
 
He was born to Ghanaian parents in England but opted to play for the four-time Africa Cup of Nations champions despite representing England at the youth levels.
 
He disclosed in an interview with the Ghana FA media that he is happy with the experience at the Black Stars camp for the first time.
 
The Black Stars will play Brazil in Le Harve on Friday before taking on Nicaragua in Lorca - Spain on Tuesday, September 27, 2022.
