Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku has urged the Black Starlets to go all out for a win today in their WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship opener as the quest to achieve the 'host and win' starts today.

The two-time world champions have been in serious preparations towards the competition at Prampram having played series of matches to access their performance including a four-nation tournament in Russia.

The team has really improved tremendously under Laryea Kingston who has worked so hard to get the boys playing some sumptuous football having lost just one in 14 matches; scoring 46 goals and conceding just 12.

Goals from Benjamin Hanson and Joseph Narbi were enough to hand the Starlets a 2-0 win over Niger in their last friendly game over the weekend.

Speaking ahead of the game, the GFA boss praised the team's hard work and dedication and added they should play their hearts out to set off a perfect start to the competition.

The game is slated for 16:00GMT at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon.
