Black Satellites head coach Desmond Ofei has described the game against Benin as a very important game and added they will have to win at all cost to cruise into the last four

The Satellites in their last game scored first courtesy Misbau Aziz but ended playing out a pulsating 1-1 against Nigeria in their opening game and will need a either a win or a draw to advance to the knockout phase

However, the Young Cheetahs also got pummelled by 4-1 in their opening game against the Flying Eagles of Nigeria, leaving them at the bottom of Group A and need nothing but a win this time to advance

In a pre-match interview, the enterprising tactician stated he won’t underestimate his Beninese counterparts because of their previous results and added they will approach the game with so much seriousness to grind all three points

“It’s a very important game for us, we want to qualify so we have to win. Despite the heavy defeat against Nigeria, we know they are still a good side so we have to be sharp, we have to be hungry and shouldn’t give anything away so we will have to show on the day that we’re the better side to get the three points.”

The game is slated for 15:00GMT (3:00pm) at the Ghanaman Soccer Center of Excellence in Prampram
