Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo has cautioned that they haven’t secured qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup and also won’t get swollen-headed and will approach the Comoros game with so much determination.

The four-time African champions after a disappointing AFCON qualifiers campaign redeemed themselves in the preliminary round of the Mundial and are just a point away from making it official.

Ghana trashed Central African Republic by an emphatic 0-5 away from home in an entertaining game at the Stade de’Honneur in the city of Meknes, Accra.

Speaking after the team’s final training, the enterprising gaffer said they are unfazed despite the big win in their last game and are heading in with nothing but a winning mindset.

“In football, anything can happen. We are not done until it’s done. We want to finish the qualifiers with a victory. We want to win to thank our fans.”

On whether he fears being sacked, the former Dortmund trainer reiterated he isn’t scared of getting sacked

“To be honest, I don't care. This is my life. As a player as well, it wasn't like everybody believed in me from Day One. I am happy and blessed to be in this situation.”

The Black Stars will wrap up the qualifiers with a game against Comoros on Sunday, October 12, at 19:00GMT (7:00pm).
