Ghana Football Association (GFA) President, Kurt Okraku says the Black Galaxies must qualify for the Championship of African Nations.
Ghana goes into the second leg with a 2-0 advantage over Nigeria.
Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu found the back of the net in Black Galaxies victory over Nigeria in the 1st leg at the Cape Coast stadium.
Ghana will face Nigeria at the Mashood Abiola stadium in the reverse fixture on 3rd September.
Kurt Okraku insists that the Black Galaxies can't afford to miss out in the CHAN tournament next year.
"We must qualify for the African Nations Championship [CHAN] this time around," he said at the 28th ordinary Congress of GFA.
"This time around, the team must qualify because they are playing some good football. We must, we must qualify for the CHAN tournament," he added.
