The Ghana Football Association (GFA) organized a meeting with the press in Kumasi on Wednesday, February 7, at the Lancaster Hotel.

This meeting was organised mainly to address the Black Stars disastrous campaign at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations and also tackle some misconceptions and questions which needed to be addressed as soon as possible due to recent brouhahas.

Lots of things were discussed at the gathering most especially with the GFA President Kurt Okraku taking responsibility of everything that transpired in Cote D'Ivoire and has pleaded with the media and public to also come up with ideas they feel will help develop the Ghanaian game so they transform the sport together.

"We take responsibility as leaders of the association, but we will count on the collective ideas to continue to transform the sport. The FA is very much committed to bringing back the lost glory and the passion of our people. All our publics must stand shoulder to shoulder with us. In good times and in bad times, we are ready to listen to the other minds. We have to let people speak to us and tell us what they think."
