Black Galaxies gaffer, Annor Walker insists that they are going to the Mashood Abiola stadium to qualify ahead of Nigeria for the Championship of African Nations (CHAN).
The Black Galaxies won the first leg tie by 2-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday evening.
Ghana and Nigeria were cautious in their play inside the first embers of the game as both teams studied each other.
Afriyie Barnieh scored the opener from the spot, before Suraj Seidu completed the riot for Ghana both inside the second half.
Ghana goes into the return fixture on 3rd September with a 2:0 lead.
Head coach Annor Walker is optimistic of qualifying Ghana to the CHAN after missing the last three editions.
"It would not be possible because I have not seen any threat in their attack," he said after the game.
"In fact, since I have seen the way they play, we will also strategize for it and when we get to Nigeria it will be a different strategy that we will use to approach the game.
"We are not coming back such that we will not be able to qualify, we are going to Nigeria and for sure we will qualify for CHAN next year," he was optimistic.
