Ampem Darkoa Ladies had a very good start to their first ever CAF Women's Champions League game after recording a precious 2-1 win over reigning champions ASFAR in their opening game earlier this week and are desperate to continue with similar momentum in their next game.

The 'Nana Mma' outfit will hope to maintain their perfect start when they cross swords with Malian conquerors AS Mandé tonight at the Stade Laurent Pokuo

Comfort Yeboah's second half double was enough for Ampem Darkoa Ladies to complete a great comeback to edge Moroccan champions ASFAR by 2-1 in their opening game last Monday in San Pedro.

Ahead of their next game, the Ghanaian champions are desperate on maintaining top-spot and also snatch all three points to advance into the semi final and will definitely play their hearts out for that today.

Speaking in a pre-match presser, the experienced gaffer they won't be carried away by the win on opening day and their target now is to finish as winners of Group B.

"We are not distracted at all. We are happy we won our first game, though, but the next game against AS Mande is equally important, and we have to win," he told the press.

"Our immediate target is to top Group B and hopefully qualify for the next stage, and the only way to do that is to beat AS Mande," he emphasised.

"We are going into tomorrow's game with the same level of determination and game plan, and hopefully, we will get another win," Adarkwah said.

The game is slated for 20:00GMT (8:00pm) this evening
