General Manager of current MTN FA champions, Eric Alagidede, has stated they will make some additions to enhance their squad as they get the nod to represent Ghana in the CAF Confederations Cup next season.

The 'Efiri Tete Amanaso' outfit after a 1-1 stalemate in regulation time, edged Bofoakwa Tano FC 5-4 on penalties to clinch the FA Cup in an epic final at the University of Ghana Stadium last Sunday evening.

Richard Dzikoe scored first on the 21st minute for Bofo but his lead was subsequently cancelled out by Sadat Mohammed in the closing moments of the second half to send the game to extra time.

The game finished 1-1 in regulation time and travelled to extra time which also produced no goal and Nsoatreman FC subsequently won 5-4 via penalty shootouts.

The Green-Yellows after winning the league cup for the first time in their history have now gotten the opportunity to play in the Confederations Cup next season.

Speaking in an interview on Asempa FM this morning, Alagidede, one of enterprising football administrators in the Ghanaian game, has admitted it was a difficult final and added Dreams FC's run will definitely rise people's expectation on their Africa campaign.

He further stated they will make some additions to their current squad in the coming months as they hope to establish a redoubtable side for the Confederations Cup.

"We will enhance our squad for the upcoming African campaign.

"The coach is already in talks with several players as we aim to make a significant impact. Dreams FC have set a benchmark, but we do not feel pressured to match their achievements, such as reaching the semifinals."
