Black Stars midfielder, Salis Abdul Samed has described the experience he's derived from the World Cup as a great one and is very optimistic the current squad will gel really well with time.
The 22 year initially wasn't considered to make the final squad for the Mundial but his consistent and impressive performance for RC Lens in the Ligue 1, ultimately earned him the final spot.
His debut game against Switzerland in a friendly last month amazed the majority and exhibited why he should become a mainstay in the team.
The JMG Academy graduate replicated the same output at the World Cup and started all the three matches Ghana played but unfortunately couldn't make it above the first round.
Speaking to Daily Graphic, the combative Middleman is very elated to have played in the world's biggest football tournament and knows the Black Stars will really improve subsequently.
“It was a good experience for us. We learnt many things from it [World Cup]. We don’t know one another much but if we continue to keep this group we will get better."
Salis has made 15 appearances so far for the Blood and Golds with a goal to his belt
