Ghana and LA Galaxy winger, Joseph Paintsil has assured Ghanaians of a five-star performance in the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup and added they are going to play their hearts out for the nation.
The Black Stars made it comfortably with eight wins from ten games in the qualifiers to punch ticket for their fifth FIFA World Cup and the entire nation has since been taking on how to get a good tournament in an event that is almost six months from now.
After missing the last World Cup, Paintsil has already expressed disappointment but strongly believes he is ever ready and poised this time only if he will be considered by coach Otto Addo and his technical team.
In a recent interview with Accra-based Citi FM, the American-based attacker said it’s going to be an amazing experience will offer all they could to excel in USA, Canada and Mexico
“We have to give everything, especially for Ghanaians and the badge.
"It’s going to be an amazing group stage for us with playing against England, Croatia; we will do whatever we have to do, but we will leave the rest to God, and we will see what will happen at the tournament,” he added.
Joseph Paintsil netted 11 goals and provided 2 assists in all competitions for LA Galaxy in 2025.
