Black Queens head coach, Nora Hauptle described their game against Rwanda as a high profile one and believes they are currently part of the top or ten on the continent.

The Ghana senior women national team exhibited majestic performances in both legs and recorded an emphatic 12-0 on aggregate win over the She Amavubi to cruise into the next round of the 2024 WAFCON qualifiers.

The Swiss tactician is still unbeaten since taking over the team early this year and is currently on a seven-game winning streak with 26 goals scored and none conceded.

In a post-match interview after the second leg tie last Tuesday, Nora Hauptle believes they are currently one of the forces to reckon with in Africa and added they are now focused on their next opponents.

“I think we are a top 10 or a top 5 team in Africa, first of all.”

“Of course, we have to welcome the win against Rwanda, in my observation I think the squad are competing at the highest level. It was a high-level game against Rwanda, and of course, we have to start analysing our future opponents, we know very well of that."

“I am very convinced that we are competitive and confident that we will qualify for the Women’s African Cup of Nations and the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.”

The Black Queens will face Namibia in the final qualifying round in November.
