Assistant coach of Black Starlets, Nana Kweku Agyemang has given update about the team’s preparations towards the upcoming CAF U-17 tournament which is weeks away from now.

The two-time world champions are still working extensively to have themselves adequately prepared for the continental showpiece coming up.

The team engaged two Division One sides on Wednesday, February 18, and recorded victories in all those matches; beating Port City FC by 1-0 and later topped with a 2-0 triumph over Na God FC, all at the Ohene Gyan Stadium.

Speaking in a latest interview, the Vision FC coach says preparations has been smooth as the team keep improving week in and out which makes it very positive.

He further lauded the performance of the team’s captain Joseph Narbi describing as a potential Black Stars-bound in future.

“We want to know how they react when they are playing against these sides. The fact that they didn't concede, that's good," he said.

"Last week we played against Na God and another team. I think we conceded in both games. Although we still won, but we conceded in both games."

"So, the fact that this time around they didn't conceit tells a lot about the work that we are doing at the moment. I think that the boys did well."

The Black Starlets will depart to Morocco in April for the upcoming 2026 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
