Nana Yaw Amponsah, Chief Executive Officer of Asante Kotoko, has declined to provide confirmation regarding his participation in the forthcoming Ghana Football Association (GFA) presidential elections. 

The current administration led by Kurt Okraku is set to conclude its term in October of this year. Elections are scheduled to take place later in the year, with Kurt Okraku expected to seek re-election.

Kojo Yankah, the former chairman of the Western Regional Football Association, has announced his intention to run for the upcoming elections.

When asked about his potential candidacy, Nana Yaw Amponsah stated, “I don't know tomorrow but for me, I want to finish my job at Asante Kotoko cleanly and when we get to the bridge we will cross.”

When the time comes, we will make a decision." Bernard Nana Yaw Amofa Jantuah, the financier of Berekum Chelsea, a Ghana Premier League team, has also expressed his interest in running for the presidential elections.

At present, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) leadership has not yet released a roadmap outlining the details of the upcoming elections.
