Chief Executive Officer of topflight side Berekum Chelsea, Nana Oduro Sarfo has angrily reiterated that, anyone who wish to continue fixing matches in the Ghanaian game is nothing but a witch or wizard.
It could be recalled AshantiGold SC and Inter Allies played a match of convenience at the Len Clay Stadium last season in match-week 34- a game the Miners won by 7-0.
The Ghana FA after thorough investigations came out with their final verdict last week and has demoted both clubs to the country's third tier, taking effect from next season.
However, the two sides have all rejected the ruling claiming they are innocent with AshantiGold SC ready to appeal the decision by dragging the GFA to the Court of Arbitration for Sports.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Akoma FM, the experience football administrator believes the ruling is better and should serve as deterrent to others who intend of fixing matches in future. He said;
"Anyone who is not deterred by this ruling to stay away from match manipulation is probably a witch or wizard."
"If AshGold has been demoted, how much more the likes of Berekum Chelsea, Elmina Sharks or Karela when they are caught in similar situation."
"Many people were happy with the verdict because it will serve as deterrent to other clubs. Anyone who will repeat such acts is something else."
