Former Under-20 World Cup winner, Ransford Osei, asserts that his goal-scoring abilities surpass even those of Ghana's all-time top scorer, Asamoah Gyan.
While Osei shone during the Black Satellites' triumph in the 2009 youth World Cup, his career took an unfortunate turn afterward.
In a recent interview, he expressed confidence in his clinical prowess, stating that, despite Gyan's brilliance, he would have scored more goals given the same opportunities.
“Asamoah Gyan was a fantastic player but not more clinical than me, when it comes to goal scoring, I will have scored more than him but he had more chances” the former Kotoko player told Frank Agyam in Germany.
Osei, who played for clubs like Maccabi Haifa, Twente, Granada, and Bloemfontein Celtics, also disclosed that his 2010 World Cup spot was allegedly given to Prince Tagoe. He retired in 2021.
