The Ghana Premier League will enter into Week-24 this midweek with some intriguing and mouthwatering encounters to keep fans buzzing as GoldStars clutched-on their fine form as guests of Medeama today (Wednesday).
Resurgent Medeama SC will be on the hunt for their third consecutive win in as many outings as they welcome sixth placed GoldStars to the Tarkwa Akoon Park. Both teams were winners this past weekend; GoldStars managed a 1-0 home win over Samartex and the Yellow and Mauves a 2-0 away win over braggadocious Asante Kotoko.
The win over Kotoko has put Medeama on the horizon of a top-four pecking order and excited about how high they can climb on the summit, especially if they can win coherently at home.
Although, Medeama seem to have a shot at the 3 points, they will have to be careful and work hard for it as their opponents cannot afford a loss nor an extirpation of the chance to move up top on the log as they will be inspired by last two year’s 1-1 stalemate at the same venue. The two sides played to a one-all-tie in the reverse fixture last year as well.
