Following their 1-1 stalemate at Kotoku Royals in match day 25, Medeama will have the chance to bounce back as they host Karela United at the Akoon Park in an highly anticipated clash dubbed ‘Nzema Derby’.
Medeama on the road - continues to serve teams with unpredictable prowess at home, and as they look improve their standing from 3rd place on the league log but they will have to guard against a precocious Karela side that has recorded three wins and two defeats in their last five games and are lurking on the 12th spot with 32 points.
Karela can, however, pull a surprise on the Yellow and Mauves and stun them at their own backyard in this much euphoric Nzema derby.
Medeama failed to win the first encounter as they played out a 1-1 draw away at Karela’s Crosby Awuah Memorial (CAM) Park, but Medeama with their depth of experience and fine form this second round have the upper hand at home.
