With eight games to the end of this year’s premier league season and no dominant team at the helm, the chase for the title looks likely to continue for a while and probably go down the wire for a sambisa finish.

However, all the top five clubs have a great and equal chance of winning the title and the competing clubs seem flared up and battle ready to neck-it-down with themselves for the last round of matches of the season.

At the Theatre of Dreams Park in Dawu on Saturday, bottom side Kotoku Royals will welcome Real Tamale United in a match of ultimate supremacy.

RTU has the 11th spot with 35 points while Kotoku lie on 18th with 21 points. This means that a win for the Northern Blue’s will spell doom for Kotoku who have had a miserable season.

But Kotoku looks superior at home as they are likely going to carry the day looking at the numbers they’ve accrued at home in this second round. RTU might hand their opponents a package of incessant goals and enrich themselves with the three points - judging from the goals they bagged against Gold Stars last Sunday.
