Looking to rebound from a worrying four run of defeats in their last six games, Bibiana Gold Stars will welcome a resurgent Legon Cities to the Dun’s Park on Saturday afternoon in the Ghana Premier League.
The Miners have been given a three-day to prepare for a festive battle with Cities, while the capital based outfit are fresh from their Christmas Day (December 25th) success over Heart of Lions.
21-year-old forward William Adjei netted the only goal in the match, which was his second goal of the top-flight season to seal the victory for Paa Kwasi Fabin’s men at the Dawu Theatre of Dreams Park.
The Royals moved themselves to the 8th position with 24 points, while Gold Stars have climbed off the relegation zone - manning the 14th spot with 15 points.
We say: Bibiani Gold Stars 1-3 Legon Cities
Legon Cities should arrive in the Western North Region full of confidence after putting Heart of Lions to the sword on Christmas Day, and we feel that the determined spirit instilled into them could help Fabin’s men to pour hot fire of goals on their hosts.
KICKOFF: 15:00 GMT (3:00pm)
