Third place Premier League side Aduana Stars can momentarily get close to the top of the table if they beat Bofoakwa Tano at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Wednesday lunchtime.

The Ogya lads secured a 3-1 victory over RTU on Sunday, while Bofo succumbed to a point in a 1-0 loss at Accra Lions a day earlier.

Aduana’s not-way-too-cool performance has occurred at a time when relegation dwellers Bofo have accumulated seven points from their last five fixtures to move to the 16th spot, who are now tasked with facing five teams currently sitting in the top eight across their next five league matches.

The hosts head into Wednesday’s daunting contest having gathered momentum to win their first home game against Aduana Star at Sunyani, having not won a Premier League game against Aduana Stars since their promotion back into the top-flight league this season.
