Aboubakar Ouattara’s men came up disfavored 2-1 in a cagey clash at Samartex two weeks ago, while the Miners and Heart of Lions played out a much more chaotic 2-2 draw.
Amid the warranted praise for coach Ouattara for being on the right path in transforming the continental club masters, Hearts of Oak has been left to bemoan inconsistent, dissatisfactory defensive displays, one which saw them become one of the Premier League team to ship 19 goals into their coffers this season, alongside relegation favourites Real TamaleUnited racking in 39 goals into their yard.
In their last six-games, Hearts of Oak have won thrice, drawing twice and losing ones in the top flight is nothing to be gulped at, though, and Gold Stars deservedly snatched a 2-2 draw stalemate at the Kpando Stadium on March 25, but they have been condemned to a 2-1, 1-0, 1-0, defeats and recorded two draws in their last five league visits to the Accra Sports Stadium.
