At the Prof. Nana Amoah Koronmansah II Park on Sunday, Nsoatreman FC will face off against Accra Great Olympics.
Fresh off their remarkable victory over Asante Kotoko on Thursday, Nsoatreman FC is riding high and eager to extend their winning streak against Accra Great Olympics. Currently occupying the 5th spot in the league table with 37 points, they've secured two wins, suffered two losses, and recorded one draw in their last five league matches.
Nsoatreman FC has been formidable at home, accumulating 23 points, scoring 11 goals, and conceding only 5 in their home matches so far this season.
In contrast, Great Olympics have faced challenges on the road, losing their last three away league encounters. They've managed to score only 4 goals while conceding a staggering 14 in their 13 away matches, resulting in just 8 points. Despite this, they've won one, drawn two, and lost two in their last five outings, currently sitting 12th in the league table with 32 points.
Although Nsoatreman FC has only beaten Great Olympics once at home since joining the top-flight in the 2022/23 season, they remain confident heading into the match. With top scorer Manaf Umar available for selection, along with key players like Mohammed Abdul Rahaman and Eric Osei Bonsu, they're poised to make an impact.
Meanwhile, Great Olympics will rely on their top scorer Emmanuel Antwi and a solid lineup including Mathew Abayase and Isaac Mensah to deliver a strong performance and secure a positive result away from home.
