Second-placed Nations FC will hit the road to take on Karela United on Saturday afternoon in Ghana Premier League match-week 29 opener on Saturday afternoon at the Naa Sheriga Sports Center.

Nations FC currently has the bragging rights after just a meeting between the two and was in the first round where Asamoah Boateng Afriyie's 82nd minute penalty was enough to hand them all three points in Abrankese.

Karela United since relocating to Nalerigu have been struggling with away matches but are always strong on home soil having taken out some opponents including giants Asante Kotoko and are hoping to add Nations to the list.

The 'Pride and Passion' side exhibited a stupendous performance to come from behind to edge Aduana Stars by 1-2 last week in Dormaa, thanks to two second half goals from Welbeck Takyi and Ibrahim Giyasu.

The win finally halted their recent three game winless run and have moved them from the danger zone to the thirteen position with 34 points.

In contrast, Nations FC haven't been impressive recently having drawn goalless against Bibiani Goldstars marking their second consecutive home draw in the past few weeks.

The Eagles after going winless in their last four matches with two defeats and two draws, are still on the second spot with 45 points, 7 behind league leaders Aduana Stars.

TEAM NEWS

The two sides haven't reported any major injury concerns or suspension cases from their last games and will have a full house for this encounter.
