Dreams FC will welcome Nations FC to Dawu on Wednesday afternoon in one of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League match-day one fixtures.

The game was scheduled to be played over the weekend but the game had to be pushed to midweek due to Dreams FC's Africa campaign.

The 'Still Believe' lads have been very impressive in the off-season and are currently in the final qualifying round of the CAF Confederations Cup.

They started off with a 3-2 on aggregate victory against Guinean fold Milo FC de Kankan in the first preliminary round; drew 1-1 in Conakry before coming from behind to win 2-1 in the capital, Accra to advance.

Just last Friday, Karim Zito men recorded an impressive 2-1 win over Sierra Leone side FC Kallon in Accra and will hope for a better results in the return leg in Freetown to ultimately secure a spot in the money zone.

On the opposition side, Nations FC will be playing in the Premier League for the first time in their history, having finished as winners of Zone II of the Division One League to qualify into the topflight.

The Eagles also had a good preseason, having engaged in some high-profile friendlies including a 3-2 win over champions Medeama SC.

They also featured in the Division One Super Cup but unfortunately exited the competition in the semi final after losing narrowly to eventual champions Bofoakwa Tano.
