Hearts of Oak will chase their second win of the season when they host Samartex FC in Ghana Premier League week 6 tie at the Ohene Gyan Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The 'Phobians' haven't really started the season well and currently have just a win from the opening four matches though they have a game to spare.

After the draw against Dreams FC, the Rainbow Club have been out of action having missed out on the last round of matches due to the postponement of their visit to Kpando Heart of Lions.

With just a win, a draw and two loses, Hearts of Oak are currently sitting on the 17th position with just four points and will need a win at all cost this time to exit the danger territory.

On the opposition end, Samartex FC nipped on goals from Baba Musah Hamadu and Dauda Yussif Seidu to flog Dreams FC to move to the summit but have surrendered it to RTU who picked a vital win earlier on Friday.

The Timber Giants have three wins and two defeats from their opening five games and are currently sitting on the third position with nine points.

HEAD TO HEAD

There has been two meetings between both sides since Samartex promotion into the Premier League with Hearts of Oak winning none of them.

The first leg in the capital ended goalless before the Green and Whites won 3-2 in Samreboi in the second leg.

TEAM NEWS

Both teams have no any major injury and suspension worries heading into the game tomorrow.
