Aduana Stars will carry a swagger when they welcome already relegated Legon Cities to the Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

Both sides enter the contest off the back of heavy defeats. 'Slewed' Aduana Stars were beaten 5-3 by Accra Lions at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The Royals on the other hand suffered a 4-1 shellacking at the hands of Nations FC. The victory saw Kasim Mingle's side ease to the top of the league table, where a sloshed Legon Cities kept sleeping in the red zone.

Match Preview

Aduana's sole focus lies with keeping their top flight status, but Cioba Aristica has one domestic outing to navigate before Christopher Ennin's Samartex outfit host them at the Nsenkyire Arena at the beginning of June.

Legion Cities fate is all but secured, with a return to the Division One inevitable. However, Tijani Abdul Rahim's men are totally down already. They enter the weekend 32 points behind 16th-place Accra Lions with three games to play. Aduana, meanwhile, are 16 points adrift of leaders Nations FC and have an wounded Vision FC on their tail.

Aduana Stars possible starting lineup (4-3-3):

Inusah (GK); Boakye (C), Adams, Agyemang, Amoako, Arthur, Marfo, Obeng, Saana, Sackey, Tetteh

Legon Cities possible starting lineup (4-2-3-1):

Aziz (GK); Akoto (C), Adjei G, Adjei W, Alidu A.R, Alidu M, Amoah, Appiah, Fuseini, Gyamfi, Quagraine

We say: Aduana Stars 2-0 Legon Cities

Legon Cities are bound to be spirited, and they may fancy their chances on away soil against a rotated Aduana team.

However, Nana Agyemang Badu I Stadium simply hasn't been a tough place for teams to visit this season, with Aristica's side winning just eight on their own turf. The Fire Boys will be swaggering around the place on Sunday after last Sunday's disgraceful work they put up, and they may have to step out of eleventh gear to prevail - as was the case in the reverse fixture.

Kickoff for this match is scheduled at 15:00 GMT, on Sunday May 25.
