Basake Holy Stars will find their way to Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park for the first time to lock horns with Bechem United in Match week 32 of the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
These two teams are fighting something really important. One is fighting to end the campaign as a top four seeded club, while the other are seeking to avoid relegation.
Match Preview
Bechem have won just one, drew one and lost four in their last six matches. When they thought they could rebound after stunning Legon Cities 1-0 in their Week 30 fixture, unbeknown to them — Samartex ambushed and beat them 2-1 just last weekend.
The Hunters, who are seeking to avoid an appaling conclusion this term, finishing 10th in the Ghana Premier League last season, still have plenty of work to do in the hotly-contested battle to secure top four finish for next season and are now preparing for two top-flight fixtures against third place Heart of Lions, as well as their last fixture against relegation battlers' Young Apostles in the second week of next month.
Bechem United possible starting lineup (4-3-3):
Anning (GK); Nyarko (C), Abban, Abdulai, Acheampong, Acquah, London, Owusu, Sanut, Tompuo, Yeboah
Basake Holy Stars possible starting lineup (3-4-2-1):
Abubakar (GK); Boadi (C), Aboagye, Agyei, Asante, Author, Ibrahim, Kwame, Oteng, Tweneboah, Yakubu
We say: Bechem United 2-1 Basake Holy Stars
These clashes might tend to be filled with drama and entertainment, but whether we will see another goal-fest in this one between two inconsistent teams, just as determined not to lose as they are to win, remains to be seen as both sides have lacked a cutting edge in front of goal in recent matches.
There is no doubt that the hosts will be regarded as favourites considering Holy Stars' experience as GPL toddlers. However, the Hunters should have enough to collect three valuable points.
Kickoff for this match is scheduled at 15:00 GMT, on Sunday May 25.
