Berekum Chelsea are searching for their sixth GPL victory on Sunday afternoon when they welcome Vision FC to the Golden City Park.

Bibires have just won a game since returning from the yuletide break, divvying up their time between Ghana Premier League, and MTN FA Cup action.

Match Preview

Vision FC on the other hand saw them travel to Kumasi last weekend - seeking to frustrate their hosts but a bruising 4-1 defeat to their more experienced collegues' Asante Kotoko has left a sour taste for them.

Chelsea returned to winning ways against Medeama on Sunday afternoon, albeit unconvincingly. They needed extra-time to earn a 2-1 in the matchday 17 game, with the often criticised Mezack Afriyie starring as they secured the three maximum points at stake.

Sunday sees Vision FC in coming out to hunt their fifth win of the season as they face a visit to Berekum. The Tema New Town outfit are currently 11th with 19 points on the table and drew their first match against Chelsea in the first round of the league.

Berekum Chelsea possible starting lineup (4-2-3-1):

Sekyere (GK), Abaidoo, Acheampong, Afriyie, Amankonah, Ameyaw, Asamoah, Z. Fuseini (C), Awuah, Badori, Seidu

Vision FC possible starting lineup (4-2-3-1):

Lotsa (GK); Addai, Asante K, Asante P, Asiedu, Offei (C), Boakye, Frimpong, Muntala, Sanja, Teyechou

We say: Berekum Chelsea 3-1 Vision FC

Chelsea have been far from convincing for much of the campaign but they should have more than enough firepower to conquer Vision FC. Despite the arrival of former Legon Cities forward' Jonah Attuquye the likes of Stephen Amankona should carry the goalscoring and creative burden with ease at the Golden City Park.

Vision FC did secure a shock victory at home against Medeam earlier this season but appear unlikely to repeat their heroics on Sunday. They're one of the mid-table battlers and will fancy their chances of breaching the Chelsea defence, but their own backline issues mean they will likely be well beaten in the annals of Omanhene Daasebre Dr. Amankona Diawuo II Berekum East Municipal of the Bono Region.
