Kasim Mingle's Nations FC suffered defeat at home after Emmanuel Marfo' second-half strike secured Aduana Stars a hard-fought 1-0 victory at Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex.
This win has made Aduana to have won three, drawn two and lost just one of their last six Premier League games.
Marfo, who missed a glorious chance in the first half, made no mistake as he raced onto a stunning pass to slide his shot beneath Kofi Mensah for his fourth league goal of the season, featuring in 22 games this campaign.
The result ignites Aduana's push for a top-four place as they move up to eleventh in the Premier League, seven points beneath sixth-placed Nations FC, meanwhile, racks up 28 points - just eight points outside the relegation zone.
